Meet Ann Federowicz

Ann Federowicz

Ann Federowicz was born in Binghamton, NY, the youngest of 9 kids. From a young age, she was exposed to discussions about health and medicine at the dinner table as her dad was a medical doctor and 3 brothers followed suit. After getting a degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education , she eventually came back to her roots, only from a different angle: an interest in preventative and holistic medicine.

Her interest in Chinese Medicine began when she took her first Qi Gong and Tai Chi classes in 1999. In 2004, she became a Licensed Massage Therapist at Crestone Healing Arts Center in CO which emphasized Eastern modalities such as Jin Shin Do, Reflexology and Shiatsu. Her personal passion of nutrition led her to study with Paul Pitchford, the author of Healing with Whole Foods, at Heartwood Institute in CA. Ann deepened her understanding of shiatsu, nutrition and meditation as she was the Teachers Assistant at Heartwood Institute for the Asian Healing Arts Program in 2004 and taught Beginners Qi Gong.

After receiving Worsley Five Element Acupuncture for the first time in 2007, she was amazed at the results. This was a medicine that took into account all aspects of a person - body, mind and spirit- and which supported the innate healing capacity of each individual. The depth of Chinese medicine embraced her values of health and healing from a curative and preventative point of view and it had stood the test of time.

Ann received her Masters of Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture in Louisville, CO. She is nationally certified by NCCAOM and State Licensed in Massachusetts and is a member of the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Society of Massachusetts (AOMSM). In 2019, she completed her 2 yr course of Clinical Integration with Master Acupuncturist and scholar, Lonny Jarrett.

Ann specializes in Worsley Five Element Acupuncture which can be traced back to Classical Acupuncture, one of the oldest styles of acupuncture.

Ann is certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture/Facial cupping/Gua Sha and is certified in the NADA protocol, which is used for detox, PTSD, insomnia and stress.

Ann has been a world traveler of Russia, Nepal, India, China and Europe. She spends her time playing Irish fiddle, cooking, gardening, exercising and practicing Qi Gong.
